It lands in the street where, presumably, it gets washed into storm drains that dump into Bear Creek. Is this legal? Robert H., Medford It’s not quite in the category like, if you outlaw leafblowers, then only outlaws will work leaflblowers, Robert. It’s technically against Medford city codes to do that, but prosecutions are light. People are supposed to bag their leaves, not blow them into the gutter, under one code, Medford police Lt. Tim George says. Also, blowing debris into the gutter so it gets washed into Bear Creek also is covered under separate laws, George says.
