Detectives arrested 23-year-old Weed resident Damion Nicoll Doyle at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office. Doyle is being held without bail in the Siskiyou County Jail in Yreka on two counts of murder. Public information officer Kelly Giordano declined comment on how John and Carol Doyle, 69 and 67, respectively, died. The investigation is ongoing, she said. Deputies found the Doyles dead July 5 in their home, located in the 14000 block of County Road A12, in the Big Springs area of Montague. Police discovered them after a 911 call that came from the house. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Damion Doyle after an investigation at the home. Anyone with additional information about the case is asked to contact the sheriff's department at 530-841-2900.
