A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Horton on charges of first-degree theft, resisting arrest and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday on $19,000 bail. Theft — Jacob Douglas Bush, 19, no known address. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Bush on a charge of first-degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Michael Joseph Gregory Seems, 18, of the 3500 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Seems on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Saturday on $15,000 bail. Attempted eluding — Derek James Morton, 44, of the 21600 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. A Central Point police officer Saturday arrested Morton on a charge of attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Friday on $5,000 bail. Drugs, attempted eluding — James Robert Kinler Jr., 23, of the 400 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. A Jacksonville police officer Saturday arrested Kinler on charges of possession of amphetamines, attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle, attempting to elude an officer on foot, two counts of reckless endangering, driving with a suspended license and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Christopher Joseph Carrick, 33, of the 3900 block of Tahitian Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Carrick on a charge of possession of amphetamines. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Crime reports Burglary — 1300 block of Woodland Avenue, Medford. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and stole items valued at $7,000. Burglary — 1400 block of Thomas Road, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy late Friday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and stole items valued at $2,000.
