Chocolate Crackles Oct 19, 2009 12:00 AM A A Makes about 15 crackles Ingredients: 2/3 cups chocolate (milk, dark or white) 1 tablespoon liquid honey 4 tablespoons butter 1 1/3 cups cornflakes or puffed rice Directions: Break the chocolate into small pieces. Place into a microwave-safe mixing bowl with honey and butter. Put the bowl in the microwave on the defrost setting and cook for 2 minutes, or until the chocolate has melted. Or heat 2 inches of water in a large saucepan until steaming, then put the mixing bowl on top to melt the chocolate. Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until it's smooth and then carefully stir in the dry cereal until it's completely covered with the melted chocolate. Spoon a tablespoon of the mixture into each of the paper cupcake cases, leave to cool at room temperature and then place them in the refrigerator to set. — Recipe from "Kids' Cookbook" (Igloo).
