Sweetwater String Band at Oberon's Tavern in Ashland Mar 31, 2015 12:00 AM A A Sweetwater String Band delivers high-energy cello and mandolin driven High Sierra bluegrass at 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Oberon's Tavern, 45 N. Main St., Ashland. The Mammoth Lakes, Calif., band — Scott Roberts on mandolin, David Huebner on cello, Jeff Meadway on guitar and Patrick Ferguson on bass — formed in 2008 and has released two full-length albums of original music inspired by the wild deserts and high mountains of the western landscape they call home.
