The occasion being Mr. Edison's birthday, novelty features of the Edison phonograph will appear as part of the program. Miss Shirley Keene and Mr. Lynn Mowitt recently of San Francisco, will introduce new dances accompanied by the Edison phonograph and several other novelties will form a part of the program. The program is as follows: "I'll Take You Home Again, Kathleen." Mr. Edison's favorite record. Intermezzo from "Caveleria Rusticana." New York Symphony orchestra with obligato by Miss Florence Clark. Jewel song from "Faust," sung in costume by Mrs. Guy Childers. "A Little Talk on the Opera Tosca and its composer, Puccini," Ed Andrews. E. Lucevan le steele from "Tosca," sung by Giovanni Martinelli (record). Visi D' Arte from "Tosca," sung by Emmy Destinn (record). Barcarelle from the "Tales of Hoffman," sung by Mrs. Childers and Mr. Andrews, accompanied by the Edison phonograph. Ruth St. Denis masurka danced by Shirley Keene and Lynn Mowitt. "One Fine Day He'll Come Again," from "Madame Butterfly," sung by Mrs. Irene Hampton Isaacs. Toreador Andalnatan (Rubenstein); Marche Mignone, Ballet Debussy (Poldini), Venita Hamilton. Elegie Messenet, sung by Helen (record), with obligato by Florence Clark. "Clover Blossoms" (Engelmann), sung by George Andrews. Berceuse from "Jocelyn," sung by Elizabeth Spence (record), with piano accompaniment by Frank Anderson. "Thou Brilliant Bird," from Perie de Brazil, sung by Anna Case. This record recorded by telephone from New York to San Francisco. Novelty dance by Miss Keene and Mr. Mowitt. TALENT TALK Several people journeyed to Ashland Saturday to witness the Ashland-Roseburg game. The sympathies of Talent were with Ashland, and quite a number of citizens cannot talk above a whisper on account of the noise they made.
