Zachariah James Carnegie, 28, of the 8400 block of Crater Lake Highway, White City, allegedly had "constant" Facebook messaging conversations with a 16-year-old girl, according to an affidavit filed by Medford police. Some of the conversations included explicit verbal descriptions of sexual conduct, and the messaging conversation included the exchange of nude photos between the girl and Carnegie. The affidavit says Carnegie asked the girl to send him photos of her, and that police allegedly found evidence Carnegie delivered drugs to the teen. According to the affidavit, Carnegie allegedly told police during a recorded interview that he used to deliver drugs to the minor and her mother, and that he was aware of the victim's age. Carnegie entered not guilty pleas at an arraignment Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court to felony charges of luring a minor, delivering methamphetamine to a minor and using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail on $100,000 bail. His next court date is scheduled for Feb. 16.
