Clint Campbell scored the winning run after he singled with one out for the Panthers (4-11, 3-7 SWC). Owens’ deciding hit went to right-center field, getting past a diving Roseburg center fielder to reach the fence. Jacob Melton and Campbell were both 2-for-3 against the Indians (8-6, 7-3). In the bottom of the sixth inning, South’s Cole Carder evened things at 4 with a two-out RBI single to left field. The single extended Carder’s hitting streak to nine games.
