"Life is a gift and even when it’s at its worst, there’s opportunity to find love, and happiness and hope and gratitude again." - Claudia Gerbasi I am so thrilled to introduce you to today’s guest, Claudia Ann Gerbasi- Ruggiere-Donovan. Claudia lost her husband on the day many of us watched terror unfolding on the television, Sept. 11, 2001. Her husband, Bart, was working at the World Trade Center that morning. Claudia and three other widows lifted each other up in the days and years after the attack that took their husbands. They eventually went on to write "Love You, Mean It: A True Story of Love, Loss & Friendship." Claudia now lives in New York City with her husband, John, and their daughter. I absolutely loved talking to Claudia -- and I’m so thankful she shared her story. We talked about so much, including losing her husband, the struggles that come from being a widow, friendship and how the group they dubbed "The Widows Club" helped each other find joy again.
