Journey Kinser, 29, was pronounced dead at Providence Medford Medical Center on Monday evening, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Kinser was driving his motorcycle east on Colver Road about 5:30 p.m. when he drove around a curve and slammed into the rear of the flatbed truck, deputies said. The flatbed had been traveling west on Colver road and had nearly completed a turn south onto Walden Lane when the collision occurred, deputies said. The motorcycle’s speed had not been determined as of Monday evening, deputies said. The truck’s driver, 29-year-old Domingo Sanchez of Medford, was not injured. No citations were issued Monday, and deputies determined that alcohol was not a factor, police said. The accident remained under investigation, deputies said.
