Sight-impaired kittens ready for adoption Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Mar. 25, 2015 at 2:50 PM Updated Mar 25, 2015 at 2:51 PM Posted Mar. 25, 2015 at 2:50 PM Updated Mar 25, 2015 at 2:51 PM » Social News With their sutures removed and the recovery regimen behind them, Seus and Monique, the two sight-impaired shelter kittens who received eyelid surgeries in January, have been cleared for adoption by Dr. Cassandra Bliss of the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Clinic. They are doing well and are in need of a home. Both kittens have been spayed and neutered and have had all of their shots, including rabies shots. Once they are adopted, the cats will be microchipped at the expense of Committed Alliance to Strays volunteers Marilyn and Leo Kimm, who have cared for the kittens through their recovery. Leo Kimm described the cats as playful and low maintenance.  "They like to eat a lot," Leo Kimm said. "They're just like any other cats. They like to run around and have fun." The kittens need to be adopted together because the two rely on each other and play together. Because of their disability, the cats need an indoor-only home because they would have no defenses if they were allowed to roam outside. The Kimms will provide the adopting home of the kittens with blankets, food, toys, litter and a three-tiered cat post. For adoption information, call C.A.T.S. at 541-779-2916. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday at  104 N Ross Lane, Medford.
