Explosion injures 1 at Beaverton food cart pod Wednesday Mar 21, 2018 at 1:03 PM Mar 21, 2018 at 1:03 PM The Associated Press BEAVERTON — Police say one person was injured during an explosion at a pod of food carts in Beaverton. Officer Jeremy Shaw of the Beaverton Police Department tells The Oregonian/OregonLive that an officer found an adult with singed hair Wednesday morning. The victim was conscious and alert. KOIN-TV reports a propane tank exploded, and witnesses told the station it was at a cart that serves crepes and waffles.
