Medford man killed in Douglas County car crash Friday Oct 14, 2016 at 7:12 AM Oct 14, 2016 at 9:09 AM A Medford man died in a single-vehicle crash in Douglas County Thursday afternoon, Oregon State Police said in a news release. George Pappas, 59, was driving north on Highway 230, north of Union Creek, at about 3 p.m. when his 1997 Toyota Tacoma went off the road for unknown reasons, crashed and rolled several times. Pappas was pronounced dead at the scene. OSP, the Oregon Department of Transportation, Chemult Fire and Rescue, and Douglas County Medical Examiner's Office responded. OSP said more information will be released when it is available.
