No one hurt in attic fire Tuesday Feb 28, 2017 at 7:26 PM Feb 28, 2017 at 9:36 PM An attic fire in southwestern Medford was quickly knocked down Tuesday night. At just after 6 p.m., smoke was reported coming from the eaves of a home at 1905 Orchard Home Drive, according to Medford Fire-Rescue Battalion Chief Kip Gray. By the time crews arrived on scene, near the corner of Orchard Home and Sunset, everyone had been evacuated from the home. The fire is believed to be electrical in nature, and the point of origin is believed to be in the attic, according to Gray.  A fire investigator was on scene Tuesday evening, along with five engines and two battalion chiefs, according to Gray. Pacific Power and Light crews were just disconnecting power as of 6:45 p.m.
