The Oregon women have 78 points, the men 53. UO's Sam Crouser became the first four-time winner in the men’s javelin in dramatic fashion. After Derek Eager of UCLA moved into first on his final attempt. Crouser responded with an effort reminiscent of his 2014 NCAA championship victory, unleashing a throw of 252-10 to win by nearly 20 feet. Crouser is the 15th person to win four titles in a single event. Brittany Mann was crowned the Pac-12 champion in the women’s shot put, breaking her own school record in the process. Mann threw 56-6 3/4 on her first attempt, eventually going on to win by a foot. The Duck men also received points in the field events from Greg Skipper (225-2), who placed second in the hammer throw; and the duo of Nate Moore (25-3½) and Trevor Ferguson (24-10½), who finished second and sixth in the long jump, respectively. Jasmine Todd led the way in the women’s long jump, finishing second with an outdoor personal best of 20-8½ to finish second. Men's Golf OREGON MAKES NCAAS: At Noblesville, Ind., Oregon made 17 birdies on the back nine to claim the fifth and final spot at the Noblesville Regional to make the NCAA championships. Oregon wrapped up the three-day regional with a final card of 297-293-281—871 (7 over). This marks the sixth time in nine years the Ducks have advanced to the NCAAs under Casey Martin and 27th time in school history. Oregon's Jonathan Woo shot a 3-under 69 and placed seventh at 2-under 214. Thomas Lim shot 71 and placed 15th. Baseball OREGON 8, UTAH 5: At Salt Lake City, Oregon put together a big inning late to rally for the second straight day. Trailing 4-2 in the eighth inning, Oregon (33-22, 13-13 Pac-12) scored six runs. It was the second time in as many games they scored six runs late while trailing. Austin Grebeck and pinch hitter Matt Eureste came up with the big hits, both driving in three runs with bases-loaded extra base hits. Grebeck tripled to left-center field after Tim Susnara, pinch hitter Kyle Kasser and Jakob Goldfarb had consecutive singles to open the inning. Eureste laced a double down the right-field line after Utah walked Mitchell Tolman and Scott Heineman to load the bases. OSU 7, STANFORD 5: At Stanford, KJ Harrison and Elliott Cary drove in three runs apiece and Drew Rasmussen scattered three hits and two runs in six innings for 19th-ranked Oregon State. Cary singled home two runs in the third, and grounded out in the fifth to finish with his third multi-RBI game of the season. The three RBI marks a season-best for the freshman. Harrison, meanwhile, drove in a run in the first, then two more in the eighth to seal the Beavers’ victory. He ended the night with three hits. It marked his 20th multi-hit effort of the night and extended his hit streak to five games. Harrison is 10-for-22 with 10 RBI during the hit streak. Jeff Hendrix and Logan Ice also had two hits for the Beavers, who recorded 10 overall. Rasmussen retired the first eight batters he faced and tossed 105 pitches over six innings. The freshman walked four and struck out five. He improved to 6-3.
