Donnie Courtney Biggs, 38, is on his forth court-appointed defense lawyer, according to court filings. Ashland lawyer Terry Richard Kolkey was appointed to the case after a Eugene lawyer asked to withdraw for undisclosed reasons from the case in May 2017. More than two years after his arrest in January 2015, Biggs is set for trial at 9 a.m. Dec. 4 on 12 felony charges for allegedly secretly recording minors while they were changing their clothes, for soliciting photographs of them, and transporting three minors across state lines between June 2012 and March 2014. Biggs was a youth pastor at Mountain Christian Fellowship in Medford. He was put on administrative leave for sending inappropriate texts to a juvenile in the congregation, according to previous reports. He then allegedly broke into the church to steal hard drives, where he was arrested by Medford police. When they searched Biggs' house in Jacksonville, police allegedly found 28 videos of unclothed girls and women recorded in a bathroom by a hidden camera, according to court documents.
