[Mail Tribune file photo} Tuesday Mar 7, 2017 at 10:20 AM Mar 7, 2017 at 10:21 AM Soroptimist International Medford's 32nd annual Pear Blossom Baby Contest will be Saturday, April 1, on the lower level of the Rogue Valley Mall in front of JCPenney. All proceeds go to local non-profit organizations that help women and girls. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the contest starts at 9:30 a.m. Entry fee is $10 per category that the child is entered in. The contest is open to babies 5 months to 15 months. There are six categories: Quickest Smile (boy and girl), Bluest Eyes, Darkest Eyes, Prettiest Hair and Chubbiest. All entrants are eligible for the Baby Bud and Baby Blossom category competition. Winners will ride in the Pear Blossom Parade on Saturday, April 8. This year’s sponsors are Soroptimist International of Medford, Winner’s Circle Driveway 5 Car Dealers, and Father and Son’s Jewelers. For questions and registration forms, contact [email protected].
