Mustangs romp by Monarchs May 15, 2009 12:00 AM A A GRANTS PASS — Taylor Bars was 3-for-3 with four RBIs and Clint Sager had a bases-clearing double in the fifth inning to lead No. 6 Hidden Valley to a 13-3 nonconference win over Umpqua Valley Christian on Thursday. Ryan Hayden was 3-for-4 with three runs and Dylan Armanino had two hits and three runs scored for the Mustangs in the six-inning affair. Hayden also struck out five in five innings on the mound. The Mustangs, the Skyline Conference champions, improved to 20-4 overall. They will travel to play at Ashland on Monday.
