A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Kendall on two counts of fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she remained late Thursday on $12,000 bail. Assault — Rojana W. Mortensen, 26, of the 3500 block of Alderwood Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Mortensen on a charge of fourth-degree assault. She was lodged in jail and released after posting bail. Drugs — Todd James Browning, 41, of Bellingham, Wash. A Central Point police officer Thursday arrested Browning on charges of possessing, manufacturing and delivering amphetamines. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $65,000 bail. Drugs — Gary Lynn Tibbets, 37, of North Bend. Tibbets appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of amphetamines. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Sarah Jane Hobson, 29, of the 900 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Hobson appeared Thursday in Circuit Court on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail then released on her own recognizance. Miscellaneous Emergency foster care — The Jackson County Child Welfare division of the Department of Human Services reports that 42 children were placed in foster care in October, with 10 of those placed with relatives.
