Gold Hill has a good team and should have won from Medford the last time they played here. It was through a piece of hard luck that they finally lost through an error. At that they had the Medford team going most of game. Next Sunday's game will be the first under Bobby Brevard's management. Bobby will make an aggressive manager and no doubt will spare no effort to make the team as good as possible. Ex-manager Ewing has done exceedingly well with his team, but could not spare the time from his business interests to attend to all the details. The Klamath Falls and Weed teams will draw a big gate when they play here. Klamath Falls has not been beaten this season, and is scheduled to play on the Medford grounds July 23. By the way, the last game played at Ashland between the Medford and Weed teams July 6 was the fastest and best-fielding game ever played in southern Oregon. It was tough luck for either team to lose such a contest. McIntyre and Scholtz were the stars for the Medford team. It was very unfortunate that both of Center Fielder Pernoll's errors came at critical stages of the game, as Pernoll is considered an almost-perfect fielder and seldom makes an error. The Medford fans wish the ball team success under its new management. The batteries for the Medford team next Sunday will be Sieberts and Force; for Gold Hill, Pruitt and Eddings. TABLE ROCK TABLETS Oliver Walruff, who was injured in a motorcycle collision on the 4th of July, was taken to his home last week, being unable to continue with his work at the Table Rock orchard. Verne Pendleton and Harry Nealon went up to the Evans creek country last Sunday on a fishing expedition and brought back a string of fine trout.
