Medford police arrested Lobaugh Wednesday on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where he remained Wednesday night on $3 million bail. Burglary — Cory Alexander Doyle, 18, of the 500 block of Oak Street, Central Point. Doyle appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with second-degree burglary. He was booked into jail and released. Burglary — Christopher James Grillo, 21, of the 4100 block of Sunland Avenue, Central Point. Grillo appeared in Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with second- degree burglary. He was booked into jail and released. Burglary — Jeremy Kent Ruddick, 20, of the 100 block of Trip Street, Medford. Ruddick appeared in Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging him with second-degree burglary. He was booked into jail and released. Theft — Mary Elizabeth Van Zant, 20, of Klamath Falls. Van Zant appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Wednesday on an indictment charging her with two counts of first-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released. Drugs — Julie Anne McLinn, 38, of the 1000 block of Court Street, Medford. McLinn appeared in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail and released. Crime reports Theft — 400 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of a 1999 Isuzu valued at $2,000. Burglary — 2600 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report of a burglary at Hubbard’s Ace Home Center. Preliminary police reports estimated the loss at $2,000. Theft — 900 block of Antelope Road, White City. A sheriff’s deputy took a report of a theft of a Ford delivery panel truck. Miscellaneous Firearms — Medford police cordoned off the 400 block of Hamilton Street for about 20 minutes Wednesday evening as they surrounded a man who reportedly had threatened to shoot a police officer. A caller told police at about 5:45 p.m. that a man in the neighborhood was talking about shooting police. Police rushed to the scene, closed the street and warned neighbors to stay inside. Police arrested Richard Paul Turton, 45, on two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Officers found him hiding in bushes at a duplex next door. Officials said they recovered two ammunition clips.
