Cooler than a beach Photo by Drew Fleming   Snowboarder Brendan Woolrich was one of thousands of people who hit the slopes at Mount Ashland for spring vacation this week. Woolrich, from Fort Myers, Fla., was among the lucky: He had a snowboard. Demand was so high that Ski Ashland ran out of snowboards to rent Tuesday and Wednesday. No numbers were available, but ski area Manager Jeff Hanson said Thursday that the combination of good weather and good snow made this the busiest spring vacation in several years.
