Ashland police arrested Stoker Friday night on out-of-county warrants charging him with first-degree theft, two counts of second- degree theft and failure to appear. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, awaiting transfer to Coos County. Criminal mistreatment — Crista Margaret McCalister, 34, of the 800 block of Broad Street, Medford. Medford police arrested McCalister Saturday on charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment and second-degree child neglect. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Saturday night on $9,000 bail. DUII —Alejandro Pulido-Vargas, 33, of the 2300 block of Sweet Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Pulido-Vargas Saturday on charges of felony driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a suspended license and being an illegal alien. He was lodged in jail without bail. Eluding police — Adrian ray Geyer, 30, of the 300 block of Sixth Avenue, Gold Hill. Geyer, who led Gold Hill police on a high-speed chase Thursday afternoon and was injured in a chase-ending crash, was lodged in jail Saturday on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, unauthorized use of a vehicle, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, driving under the influence, endangering others, and parole violation. He was lodged without bail. Sex offender — Melvin Clare Rhodes, 48, Medford. Medford police arrested Rhodes Saturday on charges of failure to register his address as a sex offender and parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Methamphetamines — Kara June Pickett, 20, of the 300 block of South Orange Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Pickett Sunday evening on charges of possessing methamphetamines and a probation violation for burglary. She is being lodged in jail without bail.
