A Medford police officer Saturday arrested Gumaer on two counts of first-degree theft, first-degree burglary and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Saturday on $35,000 bail. Drugs — Katherine Grace Sample, 28, of the 3700 block of Falcon Street, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy late Friday arrested Sample on charges of possession of amphetamines and driving with a suspended license. She was lodged in jail then released Saturday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Jennifer Lynn Crawford, 24, no known address. A Medford police officer late Friday arrested Crawford on a charge of possession of amphetamines and a warrant charging her with a probation violation. She was lodged in jail then released Saturday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Amanda Lee Shields, 19, of the 700 block of Royal Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer late Friday arrested Shields on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail then released Saturday because of overcrowding. Crime reports Vehicle theft — 7900 block of Hyatt Prairie Road, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a theft in which a 1999 Kawasaki KLF 400 all-terrain vehicle valued at $4,700 was stolen. Theft — 500 block of Dead Indian Memorial Road, Ashland. A sheriff’s deputy Saturday took a report of a theft in which eight wheels and tires valued at $4,000 were stolen.
