Ashland police arrested McCann Sunday on charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, menacing, harassment, disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Sunday on $10,000 bail. Escape — Tracy Leigh Mitchell, 33, of the first block of Orange Street, Medford. Mitchell appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with second-degree escape, driving under the influence of intoxicants and resisting arrest. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Weapon — Patricia Joan Kearns, 44, of the 6800 block of Downing Road, White City. Kearns appeared Tuesday in Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with being an ex-felon in possession of a weapon. She was lodged in jail without bail. Assault — Peggy Louise Westbrook, 38, of the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Tuesday arrested Westbrook on charges of fourth-degree felony assault and third-degree criminal mischief. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Thursday on $6,000 bail. Forgery, identity theft — Christina Anne Nissen, 22, of the 600 block of Northeast Tokay Heights, Grants Pass. Medford police Tuesday arrested Nissen on charges of identity theft, two counts of possession of a forged instrument, two counts of second-degree forgery, second-degree theft and first-degree forgery.
