Medford boys, girls swept by Eugene schools Oct 10, 2011 12:00 AM A A EUGENE — The Medford boys and girls water polo teams were swept on Saturday at Amazon Pool. For the boys, South Eugene beat Medford 13-8 and Sheldon picked up a 16-7 victory. Reid Gibson paced the boys with seven goals in those two games — six against South Eugene. Richard Thomas had three goals against Sheldon and Calvin Buchholz two against South Eugene. The Medford girls were updended by South Eugene 12-0 and Sheldon 16-2.
