Paul Edward Read Jan 18, 2012 12:00 AM A A Paul Edward Read, of Central Point, Ore., passed away January 12, 2012. He was born February 10, 1932, in White River, S.D., to Cecil Jerald Read and Leone Bardeen Walker. On August 7, 1955, in Medford, Ore., Paul married Betty. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a journeyman electrician. Paul was a member of the Spirit of Life Christian Center. He loved being in the outdoors. Paul is survived by wife, Betty; sons, William and David (Mitzi); daughters, Carol (Al), Kristine (Robert), Pamela (George), Donna (Scott), Paula (Dave), Sandra (Scott), Angela (Alex); 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 20, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Perl Funeral Home, with pastor Lenny Meyer officiating. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., at Perl Funeral Home.
