Audrey Quast of Cascade Christian was named the girls goalkeeper of the year, and Cascade Christian's Terry Fretz was boys coach of the year. The league's coaches voted on the all-star teams recently. Barnum, a senior, completed a four-year sweep of being chosen to the first team and repeated as a player of the year. She scored 18 goals and had 10 assists for the Crusaders, who play in the state semifinals today at Oregon Episcopal. Quast, a freshman, had 87 saves and allowed 25 goals, including 15 in two games against St. Mary's and one against another semifinalist, Catlin Gabel. Other first-team selections included St. Mary's Ellie Hough and Ibixia Alvarez; Cascade Christian's Erika Worthington, Emily Stephens, Amanda Armas and Baylee Plankenhorn; and Rogue River's Sequoia Poston. Cave, a senior, amassed 25 goals and nine assists for the Challengers. He was joined on the first unit by teammate Jesse Fretz. For St. Mary's, Hunter Rothfus and Alec Robertson were first-teamers, as was Rogue River's Gavin Decker.
