Emergency services, Jan. 27 Friday Jan 27, 2017 at 12:05 AM Felony arrests Drugs — Jesus Magadan Valle, 42, of Los Angeles, California. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Valle Wednesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding. Theft — Joshua Michael Murray, 21, of the 900 block of La Loma Drive, Medford. Central Point police arrested Murray Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding. Drugs — Allan Michael Scott Florea, 21, no known address. Medford police and Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Florea Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and fourth-degree assault. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday because of overcrowding. Assault — Matthew Wes Holt, 23, of the 3600 block of Avenue A, White City. On Thursday, Holt made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of third-degree assault. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Patrick Kelly Riley, 54, of the 200 block of Rogue Lane, Rogue River. On Thursday, Riley made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on charges of resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Vehicle Theft — Arturo Regaldo, 19, of the 800 block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. On Thursday, Regaldo made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance. Assault — Joshua Robert Walker, 27, of the 200 block of Cheryl Lane, Phoenix. Medford police arrested Walker Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of strangulation and harassment. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail. Sodomy — Owen Tyler Richards, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Richards Thursday on four felony counts of third-degree sodomy. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail. Drugs — Cassandra Ellen Simpson, 30, of the first block of Myers Court, Medford. Medford police arrested Simpson Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of theft of lost or mislaid property, an out-of-county warrant for driving while suspended and for violating her parole on a previous heroin possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Sex Offender — Eugene Scott Riley, 32, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Riley Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with failing to register his address as a sex offender, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday and for violating his parole on a previous third-degree rape conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail. Crime reports Vandalism — Area of Alba Drive and East Barnett Road. Medford police took a report of a large amount of graffiti on the Bear Creek Greenway path at 1:08 p.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $4,570. Lost Property — Area of North Central Avenue and Edwards Street. Medford police took a report of a missing cochlear implant hearing aid at 9:28 a.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $10,000.
