The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Southwest Michigan, effective Tuesday. The advisory, which is effective from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., calls for snow, freezing rain and sleet. A total of 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected to fall and quickly mix with sleet and freezing rain, the NWS said.
