Gail Lynn Davidson Hendricks Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Mar. 10, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Mar. 10, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News Gail Lynn Davidson Hendricks, 42, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away February 24, 2015 at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Kevin and devoted mother to Cole and Reid. Gail was born September 1, 1972 in Medford, Ore. to parents Raymond and Barbara Davidson of Central Point, Ore. Gail graduated from Indiana State University in 1995 and married Kevin Hendricks of Ashland, Ore. in 1997. Gail touched the lives of many as they moved around the country before making their home in Fayetteville, Georgia. Gail is survived by husband, Kevin; two sons, Cole (8) and Reid (4); mother, Barbara Davidson of Medford, Ore.; father and step-mother, Raymond and Lenora Davidson of Central Point, Ore.; brother, Brian (Allison) Benninger of West Linn, Ore.; sister, Paula (Ted) Childress of Central Point, Ore.; grandmothers, Pauline Fann of Normal, Ill. and Sadie Davidson of Medford, Ore.; mother-in-law, Kathee Martin of Gilbert, Ariz.; father-in-law, Rick (Cassandra) Hendricks of Medford, Ore.; brother-in-law, Ryan (Cheri) Hendricks of Queen Creek, Ariz.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in Oregon, Illinois, Arizona, and Georgia. Gail fought a valiant battle against breast cancer for nearly 5 years with her strength and winning smile defining her. A memorial service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the education accounts for Cole Hendricks (USAA #183747526) and Reid Hendricks (USAA #183747968) or to the American Cancer Society.
