Reports: Bank in south Medford Fred Meyer robbed Jan 02, 2008 12:00 AM A A (Updated 3:10 p.m.) Medford police are responding to the report of a robbery at the Washington Mutual Bank inside south Medford's Fred Meyer store. Police are looking for a man who entered the bank at the South Gateway Fred Meyer just before 3 p.m., asked a teller for money and said he had a gun, according to initial reports. The store remained open after apparent robbery. Police are looking for a white man in his 40s wearing a red or orange top or jacket, initial reports said. - Staff reports
