A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Wilsie on three counts of aggravated first-degree animal abuse. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $15,000 bail. Theft — Jesse Dale Davidson, 19, of the 700 block of North River Road, Rogue River. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Davidson on charges of first-degree theft and second- degree burglary. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $10,000 bail. Kidnap, theft — Mychael Alexander Mooring, 18, of the 1300 block of Andrews Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Mooring on charges of second-degree kidnap, unlawful use of a vehicle, harassment, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree theft and resisting arrest. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $1,020,000 bail. Coercion, weapons — Rodney Bruce Pearce, 33, no known address. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Pearce on charges of coercion, being a felon in possession of a weapon, menacing, second-degree criminal mischief, violation of a restraining order and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Crime reports Theft — 100 block of Seroba Circle, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which a stereo, speakers and compact discs valued at $1,400 were stolen from a vehicle. Burglary — 1200 block of Queen Anne Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and took a guitar, television, Sony Playstation, telephone and gym bag valued at $750. Advertisement Theft — 600 block of West 10th Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which someone stole a computer valued at $2,500 from a car. Burglary 2300 block of Antelope Road, White City. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a business and took items valued at $200. Fire calls Structure fire — No one was injured in a fire that destroyed part of a Newtown Street duplex Tuesday morning. Crews from the Medford Fire Department went to a duplex in the 900 block of Newtown Street just after 7 a.m. in response to the fire. When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke billowing out the front door. Firefighters were able to confine the fire to a bedroom, while the rest of the unit was damaged by smoke and heat. The fire was started accidentally, according to the fire department. Miscellaneous Auto crash — A tractor-trailer carrying a load of frozen vegetables flipped onto its side Tuesday afternoon and slowed traffic on an Interstate 5 on-ramp for hours while crews cleaned up the mess, an Oregon State Police dispatcher said. The accident on the southbound on-ramp at Exit 24 was reported to OSP at about 1 p.m., but police stayed on the scene until early evening. No further information was made available on the Phoenix-area crash.
