An Eagle Point police officer Tuesday arrested Searles on charges of first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $25,000 bail. Child support — Phillip Michael Schaaf, 43, no known address. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Tuesday arrested Schaaf on two warrants charging him with criminal nonsupport. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $50,000 bail. Assault — Jason Glenn Simcox, 26, of the 200 block of North Ivy Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Simcox on charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and reckless endangering. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $12,000 bail. Drugs — Susan Kay Nettleton, 37, of the 1400 block of East Main Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Nettleton on charges of methamphetamine possession and endangering the welfare of a minor. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Tuesday on $9,000 bail. Drugs — Michael Anthony Maloney, 43, of the 700 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Maloney on charges of manufacturing marijuana and fourth-degree assault. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $24,000 bail. Vehicle theft — Natasha Marie Gourneau, 22, of the first block of Winema Way, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Gourneau on charges of unlawful use of a vehicle and third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail, where she remained late Tuesday on $6,000 bail. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 1400 block of Euclid Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which $7,300 in items were stolen from a vehicle. Items included a compact disc player, 500 compact discs, an Apple iPod, a digital camera, tools and $400 cash. Theft — Corner of East 13th Street and South Central Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which a BMX bicycle valued at $1,200 was stolen. Miscellaneous Theft arrests — Rogue River police late Monday arrested three people in connection with the theft of a $30,000 piece of surveying equipment taken last week from a construction site near the Depot Street bridge. Sherrie Gayle Herrera, 36, and Shawn David Hamner, 35, both of the 600 block of Broadway Street in Rogue River, were lodged in the Jackson County Jail on charges of aggravated first-degree theft and first-degree theft. Both were released on Tuesday. A third suspect, Heather Marie Swift, 23, of the 300 block of Jaynes Drive in Grants Pass, also faces charges relating to the June 1 theft.
