Zenaida "Zeny" Acuin Yance Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jan. 27, 2016 at 2:00 AM Posted Jan. 27, 2016 at 2:00 AM » Social News Zeny Yance, 60, passed away Tuesday morning, January 26, 2016 at Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Ore. She was born February 3, 1955 in Leyte, Philippines and raised by her loving grandmother. Zeny was known for her loving spirit and endless generosity. She had a passion for cooking, especially for others. She also enjoyed hiking, jazz, and traveling. She loved working for Mederi Centre for Natural Healing for many years, and was devoted to a life of service helping others. Zeny was a great friend to many and could get along with just about anyone. She was hardworking and a wonderful mother. Zeny is survived by her daughter Clarissa; her beloved partner, Gary Stamps; her brothers, Lito and Buboy; and her sisters, Josie, Jody, and Jackie. A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Our Lady of the Mountain Church, Ashland, Ore. with a reception to follow in the parish hall. Cards and flowers may be sent in care of Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home, 1811 Ashland St., Ashland, Ore. 97520. 541-482-2816. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Zeny’s name may be made to the Mederi Foundation.
