David Neal Reynolds, 55, of the 300 block of South Holly Street in Medford was sentenced to 90 days in jail Friday after pleading guilty to six counts of invasion of personal privacy. Reynolds took his camera into Old Navy dressing rooms in September, put it below the dressing room partitions and made visual recordings of females, according to testimony in Jackson County Circuit Court. Reynolds was working for a towing company at the time that he was arrested. He has lost his apartment and will likely lose his job, his defense attorney said. In addition to serving jail time, Reynolds will be on probation for five years and must undergo a sex offender treatment program. "This is very, very inappropriate behavior, sir. You can't do this to anybody," Jackson County Circuit Judge Lorenzo Mejia told Reynolds. "You've got to get some help." Reynolds dabbed tears but declined to make a statement during his plea and sentencing hearing. In 2010 and again in 2014, Reynolds was convicted of third-degree sexual abuse for touching the intimate parts of women without their consent. He was required to register as a sex offender, court records show. In 2013, Reynolds was convicted of second-degree theft after taking a purse from the shopping cart of a woman who was shopping in the baby formula section of Walmart in Eagle Point. The purse contained cash and Social Security cards for the woman and her daughter, the woman told police. Reynolds has been lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail since Sept. 29, jail records show. Staff reporter Vickie Aldous can be reached at 541-776-4486 or [email protected] .
