Debbie had been battling cancer for 2 ½ years. Debbie was born December 30, 1958 in Portland, Ore. to Joseph and Lela “Pat” Loeffler. She married Pedro Abeyta in South Lake Tahoe July 3, 2003. In 1996, Debbie graduated from Washington State University with a master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
