Timothy Daniel Raybould, 24, of Eagle Point, admitted in Jackson County Circuit Court that he, along with Gage Steven Miller, 22, of Florence, robbed the Eagle Point Arco AM-PM convenience store just after midnight Sept. 19, 2014. Both wore camouflage-colored boxers on their heads as a disguise. Raybould was charged with the robbery in February 2015 after Miller attempted to leave an anonymous tip with Oregon State Police about the crime. Miller, however, used his own phone when calling in the tip, Deputy District Attorney Nick Geil said, leading police to question Miller. In July, Miller pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and was sentenced to three years in prison. Raybould was the one who held a Glock 22 handgun during the robbery, court documents filed in the case show. The weapon involved will be forfeited as part of the plea agreement, Geil said. Before planning to rob the convenience store for cash, the two had planned to rob an individual, Geil said during the hearing. Raybould was sentenced to 50 months in prison followed by three years' post-prison supervision. He has no prior felony convictions, court records show. His only prior conviction was for driving under the influence of intoxicants in July 2014. An appeal was filed on the misdemeanor conviction in May 2015, court records show. Miller previously had been found guilty except for insanity on charges of first-degree burglary of an occupied home and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Lane County in 2015.
