The National Weather Service reported a frost advisory will be in effect from 2 to 8 a.m. Friday, with morning temperatures dropping to anywhere from 33 to 36 degrees. The affected area covers Jackson and Josephine counties, and eastern Curry County, the advisory states. Weather officials warned the temperature drop could damage sensitive outdoor vegetation, and that proper precautions such as covering the plants up should be taken.
