Dan was born February 14, 1963 in Long Beach, Calif. to Darlene and Connie (Eugene) Conlogue. Dan and his family moved to Ashland in 1972. He played both football and baseball for the Ashland Grizzlies, graduating in 1981. In January, 1982, Dan moved to Calimesa, Calif. to help care for his ailing grandfather. While in California, he started building trails in the Pacific Crest Trail system with his brother, Rob. Dan moved back to southern Oregon in 1995 and worked in construction until his illness forced him to stop working. Dan is survived by his parents and his spouse, Tracy Lawrence, of Eagle Point, all of whom were at his side when he passed away. Dan was affectionately known as "Staddio" (stepdaddy) to Tracy's 9 year old daughter. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Mike and Lei, Tracy, Rob, Karen and Neil, Kathleen, and Ken and Melissa. Dan was uncle to many nieces and nephews. They are, Stephanie, Jude, Eric, Dakota, Samantha, Andrea, Sean, and Linsey, Christopher and Kailee, Tyler, Bella, Josh, Delanie, Bailee, Chandler and Kammeron, Ava, and Sawyer.
