Hebblewhite made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was processed Monday at the Jackson County Jail, then released on his own recognizance. Encouraging child sexual abuse — Stephen Gayle Calhoun, 52, from the 9800 block of West Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies added 15 charges of encouraging child sexual abuse in the first degree. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday in lieu of $379,000 bail. Drugs — Nicole Dianne Lighthall-Morgan, 23, no address available. Medford police late Sunday arrested Lighthall-Morgan on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where she was released Monday because of jail overcrowding. Identity theft — George Garland Rathwick, Jr., 43, of the 8000 block of Copco Road, Ashland. Ashland police Monday arrested Rathwick on out-of-county warrants charging six counts of identity theft and four counts of obtaining a controlled substance unlawfully, as well as driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended, and for failing to appear on several felony and misdemeanor charges. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday without bail. Drugs — Marchand Marie Sandahl , 23, no address available. Medford police Monday arrested Sandahl on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail, where she was being held Monday in lieu of $5,000 bail. Crime reports Burglary — 700 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a break-in of a residence from which miscellaneous tools were taken. Advertisement The burglary and theft, which was valued at $1,100, was reported to police at 11:05 a.m. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 139 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its new court-ordered cap of no more than 230 inmates. Of those, 53 were released before their scheduled court appearances, 29 were granted an early release from a sentence and 57 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
