SPECIALIZED SKILLS Warehouse Management Duties- In charge of all aspects of furniture warehouse functions including 2-million dollars of inventory, shipping & receiving, stock repair, inventory counts in a computerized environment. Also responsible for 14 employees- hiring/firing and scheduling, five commercial moving trucks and three forklifts, and over 13,000 square feet of storage in our facility. I also coordinate building maintenance and new construction and manage OSHA compliance for the entire company. OSHA Training- Responsible for drafting a complete safety program for Gates Furniture warehouse and retail store including handling hazardous materials, controlled moving and lifting techniques, forklift operation and creating a safe work environment for employees and customers alike. United States Naval Education - Basic & advanced supply control, Leadership Management Education Training (LMET), instructor training, word processing, spread sheets and graphics, software integration, numerous awards for initiative, reliability and endurance. Commendation received for superior performance as an outstanding petty officer with superb knowledge. Navy Aviation Storekeeper Duties - Procure and issue store aviation supplies; Issue, control and calibrate test equipment/ specialized tools; Conduct complete aircraft inventories; Investigated/ researched and reported on overpriced military supply lists; Control of squadron accounting to include financial statements and reports.
