Entries now number more than thirty, with some of the leading poultrymen yet to come in. Their entry blanks have been filled out and they will probably be in "their stalls" tomorrow. Indications point to a surprisingly big show, considering the time given for the preparation. The officials of the association have worked faithfully, at sacrifice of personal business in some cases, to leave nothing undone to make this exhibition worth while — and it will be. Judge B. F. Keeney, accompanied by E. J. McClanahan, one of the leading poulterers of the Willamette valley, will bring a pen of the finest Barred Rocks on the coast and his famous Leghorn cockerel who easily walked away with first prize over eastern exhibitors at the Panama-Pacific exposition last year at San Francisco. Interest in the poultry exhibits in this introductory show for this valley under a poultry association direction is very general. Special features will be announced tomorrow. CREST OF FLOOD PASSES IN ROGUE Although the snow has melted rapidly the past two days in the hills and mountains, there is no danger of flood, as there is comparatively little snow as compared with previous years, and it is going off so gradually that little damage is resulting. Rogue river Monday evening attained a height of 5 feet 7 inches at the Gold Ray dam — a raise of 2 1/2 feet, representing a flood discharge of approximately 20,000 second feet, as against a maximum flood discharge of 18,000 second feet in 1912. The river is now rapidly falling. Other streams are fast recovering their normal level. Snow on the Siskiyous has at no time attained a greater depth than eight feet, or at Crater Lake of eleven feet. EAGLE POINT NOTES Mr. and Mrs. R. G.
