"My Secret Garden" by Rebecca DiCero of Medford won the $1,000 best of show award. In the adult category, "House of Snow – Deux" by Tara Buscher and Laney Burridge of Grants Pass won first place; "Sweet Surprize" by Donna Sesock of Central Point won second place; and "The Mouse Market" by Naomi Bell of Grants Pass won third place. In the student category, "Star Wars" by Josiah Arthur of Medford won first place; "A Winter Wonderland" by Lily Cusumano of Cave Junction won second; and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by Samantha Hyde, Janelle and Madeline Shumway, of Medford and Ashland, was third. In the group category, "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World" by Ashland Classical Conversations Home School Group, Jillian Brown and Heidi Patterson won first; "Gingerbread Festival of Trees" by Christopher, Lana and Sheryl Hyde of Medford won second; and "Inside a Gingerbread Head by Summer, Edahlia, Taelynn and Ben Helm" of Ashland won third. Each first place winner gets $500, while second place winners get $250 and third place earns $100. See all the entries at this year’s community tour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, through Monday, Nov. 23, at the Collier Center, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. Tour admission is $3 per person.
