Customs for Kids Car Show planned May 14 at Brammo Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Apr. 26, 2016 at 10:58 AM Posted Apr. 26, 2016 at 10:58 AM » Social News Medford’s Altered Vision Car Club will host its sixth annual Customs for Kids Car Show, a benefit for Maslow Project, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Brammo, 300 W. Valley View Road, Talent. The club plans to award more than 40 trophies this year, says Bill Newell, one of the event organizers. All years, makes and models of cars are welcome. There also will be raffle prizes, a 50/50 auction, food vendors, a coloring contest for kids, laser tag and a bounce house obstacle course. All proceeds will benefit Maslow Project’s work with homeless families and unaccompanied youth in Southern Oregon. Last year, Maslow Project worked with more than 2,300 homeless youth and their parents or guardians, bringing them stability and wrap-around support services so they could focus on staying in school and completing their educations, according to a release. Customs for Kids has raised over $40,000 for Maslow Project since its inception. General admission to the event is free; registering a car for the show costs $15.
