Oakdale Ave. The church will celebrate Mother's Day during services at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, May 11, at the church. Coffee and refreshments will be served after the services. Call 541-773-3111 or see www.stmarks-medford.org. A Sacred Healing Meditation service will be held at noon Saturday, May 10, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford. Rev. Rob Wheeler will give a sermon titled "Honoring the Feminine — Mother's Day" at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 11. A Healing from the Heart service is held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, and a silent Unity prayer service is held at 11 a.m. Wednesdays. A metaphysical bible discussion will follow at 11:30. Rev. Norma Nakai Burton will talk about mothers at the Unity in Ashland service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, May 11, at the Havurah, 185 N. Mountain Ave. Call 541-488-9220. Butte Creek Baptist Church will hold a service at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 11, at 429 N. Royal Ave., Eagle Point. The church holds a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesdays, followed by bible study at 6:45. Call 541-830-4588. Ashland poet Charlotte Abernathy will speak about Unitarian Universalist poets at the Medford Unitarian Universalist meeting at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 11, at the Masonic Center, 975 N. Phoenix Road, Medford. Attendees are encouraged to bring poems by Unitarian Universalists to share. A potluck supper will follow. See www.rvuuf.org/medford-uus. Medford First Christian Church will hold its 10th annual Bonnet Tea on Saturday, May 17, at 1900 Crater Lake Ave., Medford. A boutique trunk show shop will open at 12:30 p.m., and the tea with a masquerade theme will begin at 2 p.m. Events will include door prizes, gift basket raffles and entertainment. Scones, tea sandwiches, sweets and assorted teas will be served. Cost is $20 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. Call 541-772-8030.
