Ashland climbed through the losers bracket and defeated previously unbeaten Eugene twice, 7-5 and 11-2, to claim the title. The Bandits, who fell into the losers bracket following a 5-4 loss to Gold Beach on Friday but battled back to win four games on Sunday, finished the tournament with a 6-1 mark. UO conditioning guru to stage seminar at Crater CENTRAL POINT — Jim Radcliffe, the University of Oregon strength and conditioning coach since 1985, will conduct a seminar from 2:30-4:30 p.m. next Wednesday in the Crater High student center. The seminar is titled, "The Ideal Athletic Conditioning Program." The session is open to all. Crater soccer camp forto start Monday A soccer camp for boys and girls entering grades 1-8 hosted by Crater High will be held Monday through Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at the soccer fields off Upton Rd. Cost is $50 per person, and includes a T-shirt and soccer ball. Registration forms can be picked up at Crater High, or there will be early registration at 8:30 a.m. on Monday.
