This Fine Arts film play is adapted from the powerful novel of Horace Hazeltine and represents the high degree of realism attained by the Triangle people in dealing with the life and ways of an alien race. Thomas Jefferson, skillful actor in his own right and by his inheritance from his renowned father, has the double roles of the two Cameron brothers, Robert and Donald, to play, and he is equally at home as the lovable man of means and as the derelict. Everyone knows Joseph Jefferson and his "Rip Van Winkle." For a generation the beloved actor played it from coast to coast, and when he died one of his sons, Thomas Jefferson, took the part and maintained the traditions established by his parent. Ford Sterling appears for the first time on the Triangle program in a laugh-thriller called "His Father's Footsteps." Ford Sterling's comic facial expressions and bodily contortions will be seen at their best in the new Triangle play at the Page Theater tonight. TALENT TALK The Southern Oregon Athletic Association, which met at Gold Hill Saturday, decided to hold the annual field meet at Talent on Friday, April 28th. The events will be the same as last year but only two instead of three from each school may enter any one event. The cup to be contested for was put up by the O. society of the Talent high school. Gold Hill won the prize the first year and Central Point last year. The contest is open to all schools of Jackson County. A trophy will be put up for a free-for-all three-mile race. A lecture will be given in the M.E. church by Rev. Reed Wednesday evening, March 29th. The subject will be "The Boys of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow." The proceeds are to be used by the Boys Hiker Club.
