Charles Howard Walden May 03, 2006 12:00 AM A A Charles Howard Walden Charles Howard Walden, 87, of Medford, Ore., passed away on April 29, 2006 in Medford. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 6, 2006 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel. Pastor Lee Gregory will be officiating. Charles was born on February 20, 1919 in Medford, Ore. to Eli and Jenny Walden. Charles then married Edith L. Lenderman on March 24, 1945 in Medford, Ore. Mr. Walden was a truck driver. He owned — trucks until his retirement in 1985. Then he ran parts for GMW logging until February of 2004. Charles was a medical corpsman in the Army Air Corps during WWII from January 16, 1942 to October 4, 1945, serving in the Pacific. Survivors include his wife, Edith L. Walden.
