The Southern Oregon Poultry association will begin to form its plans tomorrow at its regular meeting at the public market for that event. E. J. McClanahan, the veteran poulterer of Eugene, whose famous Barred Rocks were the cynosure of all eyes at our recent show here writes to a leading poulterer here, under date of the 16th, in part as follows: "I have talked with a great many of our poultrymen since I arrived home and they will all vote for Medford for the next state show, which is always held in December. Get after the poultrymen there and don't let the enthusiasm die out. There will be a big bunch of us come from Eugene with a string of fine birds." Josephine and Klamath counties will be in line by that time with some excellent birds, while Jackson county, whose poultry people learned something about poultry for exhibition purposes in our first show, will be ready for a much improved showing.
